Farm to container
Follow lot ZC-57-A from a Gujarat field to a sealed container
Every lot we ship has a docket. Scroll through the five stages to see what happens to a lot of cumin, and what we record at each step.
Stage 1 · Harvest, February to March
Seed grown in north Gujarat
Cumin is a winter crop, cut in February and March. We buy at the Unjha market yard and from grower groups nearby, and every lot is weighed and tested for moisture before we accept it.
